Aspects of consideration
In a system change, it is important to respect that individuals do not want to lose any privileges or material wealth (land included). Freedom is a highly valued asset which I have found no one willing to give up under any circumstances. Therefore, all mention of common ownership, with a beacon signal of lesser freedom, can be expected to be strongly rejected.
Other important aspects to respect are that of culture and heritage. On many occasions have we seen how alternative political systems and ideals have been forced upon non-holders of such systems with the belief that the old is replaced with the new for a more prosperous future. The evidence for the opposite is overwhelming. One need only look towards the consequences from such actions by the former British empire in its colonial wars, or more recently in the middle east with the liberalisation of the Iraqi people from the labelled dictator Sadam Hussein. Modernisation is not always a good thing. Political systems have been instigated and established over centuries. Change has occurred over an equal time frame.
For any systematic change to be successful, it must allow for the framework of alternative governmental rule. It cannot be expected that any sovereign state will except an alternative political system on any basis – even to save the world from environmental catastrophe. Instead, the systematic idea must itself be adaptable to and accepting of political differences and be all conforming. For example, the peoples of the United States of America are well known for their steadfast ideology of the people’s freedom from governmental control. This belief is deeply rooted into the core of the American culture. It cannot be expected that such beliefs will be set aside and allow for governmental control of land and/or means to production to save humanity. Equally, Chinese citizens have a deeply rooted trust in their leader’s ability to lead their country prosperously. Chinese culture is far older than that of USA. Any worldwide resolve to the climate crises must allow China to continue to decide over its people’s future without outside interference. Both these systems work adequately in each sovereign region. As such, Solidarism must allow for both systems of rule.
From this the idea grew of limiting the political structure to only include monetary trade relationships. There needs be a resolute status of non-interference with localized political rule. The localized political rule of a sovereign nation should be decided by its peoples and its own history. Alternative political rule should not be forced upon any sovereign nation or peoples. We as a species have different opinions, but we should focus on solving one issue at a time. The most pressing issue we currently have is the environmental issue. It is also the one issue we are not able to solve with money.
